Mark McKenney
Barrister
- Mark McKenney was admitted to legal practice in 1990 having completed an LL.B/B.A (Hons) at the University of Melbourne. After completing his articles year Mark worked as Associate to Justice Keely of the Federal Court of Australia.
- Mark has practised exclusively as a barrister in State and Federal Courts and specialist tribunals such as the Fair Work Commission (and its predecessors) and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal since 2005.
- Mark has developed a specialty in employment/industrial relations and discrimination law and works in all civil jurisdictions including administrative law, contract disputes and commercial law.
- Prior to becoming a Barrister in 2005 Mark worked as a solicitor for a major law firm and prior to that was a senior Commonwealth public servant and Commonwealth advocate based in Canberra.
- Mark has recently relocated to Tasmania and is looking to continue in his established areas of practice working out of Republic Chambers in Hobart with Greg Barns SC.
